Management Communication Ethics ResearchFinding the Bull's-EyeGeorgetown University Scholars who wish to produce substantive research in management communication ethics would be helped, The author believes, by a clear, shared vision of what the term designates and, in this article, the author offers his vision for consideration. The author believes that management communication ethics should designate a set of concerns that lie at the intersection of management, communication, and ethicsspecifically he proposes that management communication ethics should focus on the rhetorical rights and duties of persons performing the managerial role in business transactions. The author believes that this approach, by emphasizing fundamental and central issues, can help us to develop a distinctive and important body of knowledge.
